Soft tissue massage or sports massage is the skilled manual manipulation of the soft tissue of the body (muscle, tendons, ligaments, fascia) to help restore normal tension. This allows the body to realign and move more freely, relieving compensations and pain.

These may be added upon request or where applicable:
Hot stones

Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage is a deeply relaxing tissue massage that uses soothing oils/creams with
warm basalt stones. The stones are heated then either placed on the body in a target area of
tension or used to massage and relax the muscles. Along with the benefits of a soft tissue massage (providing relaxation and promoting a better sleep).
What to wear – Underwear you are comfortable in or exercise shorts (and normal/bikini bras for ladies). You will be covered by towels during treatment at all times.
Post-treatment
During deep soft tissue treatment toxins are released, circulation stimulated and healing sped up, so this may feel a bit sore both during and afterwards. This is normal and is only temporary. You should feel a positive effect immediately or after a couple of days. Drink lots of water afterwards (especially after a hot stone massage).
